The Virtual Residency Interview Practice

Hi! Thanks for taking the time out to read posts on the blog. Hope you are finding these posts helpful. Due to COVID-19, residency interviews are going to be virtual for the 2021 match cycle. It can be difficult and also quite scary as interview season approaches. We are now offering practice residency interviews by current residents that will help you succeed.

How does this work?

  • The Application: We will review your application entirely prior to the interview. This includes your CV, personal statement, transcripts, and MSPE (if available)
  • The Interview: Interview day will be set up at a mutually convenient time and we will be conducting the interview simulating the actual interview environment.
  • The Feedback: After the interview has formally ended, we will provide feedback on the interview as well as your application.
  • Time allotted for a Q and A session.
  • Tips on how to evaluate programs that you interview at that will help you make a more informed decision when ranking programs.

More information when you register.

Having gone through the process myself, I know the problems we face as IMGs and this blog is our way to help you out. I was born and brought up in Mumbai and that is also where I attended medical school. I am currently doing my Internal Medicine Residency in New York City.
